Nong Khiaw – Ban Vieng Kham – Na Louang – Ban Pha Yong
We depart from our office and cycle uphill towards Ban Vieng Kham (Lao minority group) for around 30 minutes, along the way we explore Pha Kouang cave which was used as a bomb shelter during the second Indochina war, afterwards taking some time to look around the village. The road cruise along the way passes through rice fields, vegetable plantations and beautiful scenery before approaching Ban Na Louang (Khmu village), here we have a fantastic opportunity to get more insights into the culture of the Khmu ethnic group. After that we head off via bicycle again through a remote, bamboo forest and some unique limestone scenery. We finally arrive at Ban PhaYong (Hmong village) here you will learn more about Hmong culture, finally we will approach Nam Ou river bank and cruise back to Nong Khiaw in the late afternoon.
