Luang Prabang – Ban Suan – Ban Houy Fay – Tad Sae waterfall – Luang Prabang.
After departing from Laos Outdoor office, we first drive downhill toward the southeast of Luang Prabang to the trekking start point at Ban Suan (Hmong and Lao ethnic minorities), we trek along a local hunting path then experience the forest and rice paddy fields before approaching the Khmu village (Ban Houy Fay), here we have a fantastic opportunity to get more insights into the culture of the Khmu ethnic group, the trek continues through a beautiful valley with impressive limestone scenery before reaching Tad Sae Waterfall. After lunch and relaxing we have time for Elephant riding, feeding and bathing for 1 ½ hours in the waterfall range. From here we take a motor boat upstream to Ban Ann Savan for a transfer back to Luang Prabang.
Approximately: 1 hours elephant riding & half and hour bathing /3 hours Trekking / 1 hour driving.
Note: In the dry season, potentially less water at the waterfall.
